Mind Your Body $15.00
Tunin'Minds Vol.1: Mind Your Body

Mind Your Body is a CD filled with half a dozen songs for children aged three years onwards (so this includes adults too!!!).

The songs are fun - you can dance to them, hum along with them, relax with them, and most importantly, learn from them.

1: Mind Your Body Full of groove, this title song explains how the mind and body can affect and help each other.

2: Cross n Roll This number compares in simple terms the functions of the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Set to a rock n roll tune, the lyric contains exercise instructions to encourage the two parts of the brain to work together effectively.

3: Jazz the Eyes Did you know that eye movements help you to remember, learn, listen, feel, imagine and create? That's right! Learn more about what eye movements can do for you with this jazz number.

* The advantages of this set of eye movements in Jazz the Eyes generally apply to right-handed individuals.

4: If You Love Him, It's Best to Show It This is an entertaining story that shows how action does speak louder than words. It also underscores how behind every action, there is a positive intention. Written like a mini-musical, narration is here interspersed with sung dialogue.

5: MmmHum! Reminiscent of the sound a foetus hears in a womb, humming is a natural way to soothe oneself. In this song, the different occasions when one might make a 'Hmmm' sound is featured - when happy, when sad, while thinking, when an answer is clear, when hungry, when full, when unsure, and when secure.

6: Trust n Believe If you need something to boost the confidence or calm your child or yourself down, listen to this tune. Unusual, this piece is made up of positive affirmations with relaxing music and the sounds of waves, the wind and birds in the background. The purpose of this piece? To neutralize all the negative remarks a child hears all the time like 'You're so naughty!' and 'You're so lazy.'

The Star In Me $18.00
Tunin'Minds Vol.2

'The Star In Me' In Brief All the songs and sound effects on this CD encourage:

Creativity through exposure to and exploration of different types of music, sounds, rhythms, movements, moods, emotions, activities and imagination;

The use of all five senses for a more sensorial learning experience; and the confidence to communicate & express through chanting, singing, and sharing of creative ideas.

1: Take What's Good points out that it's okay to make mistakes because we learn from our mistakes. And it's also okay to have people give us feedback because we might just learn from that feedback. But we don't have to follow blindly everything that everyone says. Just take what's good!

2: Stop! Have you ever met anyone who said 'Yes' to your face but you were sure she meant 'No'? That's probably because her words did not project the same meaning as her voice and gestures. This song makes us aware that to be happier with ourselves, it is best to learn to match what we feel with what we say and do. The starting and sudden stopping actions in this song enhance our inhibitory control skills so we can hold back inappropriate behaviour whenever we want to.

3: Hide 'n' Seek.Moving, vocalizing and dramatizing while using our five senses to the song Hide 'n' Seek is a fun way to help us get rid of negative emotions. Also, we can relieve stress by singing out loud the gibberish in the sing-a-long section.

4: Vitamin Words. We all get slapped with expressions such as "You're careless", "You're too shy", "You're untidy" and "You're naughty" all the time. These negative statements, taken in large doses, may rob us of our confidence. So why not turn to vitamin words to get back our self-esteem and confidence? After all, we take vitamin supplements daily for the health of the body. So why not take vitamin words (which are really positive affirmations) for the health of the mind too?

5: Rainbow Lullaby was designed to create awareness of how colors can affect us positively. This song can be used for relaxation and imagination.

6: The Star In Me.This instrumental piece is great to help soothe and relax us after an active day. Or, we can also use it whenever we need to trigger our power of imagination.
